Our exhibit on The Science of Salt is open at the MSU museum! This exhibit is a broader impacts project funded by NSF EAR-2242904. Ph.D. student Luisa Chavarria took a leading role in designing the modules, which cover the importance of rock salt in our lives, an introduction to crystallography, and connections to Luisa’s research on Earth’s mantle. It’s free to visit now through July 2026.
